For internal treatment, it must be treated together with Prunella vulgaris, Fritillaria, Forsythia suspensa, and Ziying."

It can promote lactation and is used for its shape. It can strengthen teeth and remove heat from yang and yin. People say that it has one stem and two flowers, about a foot high, with a big fist at the bottom, and a human figure hugging it. Mashing the juice and mixing it with wine is very effective in treating choking and dysphagia. All the ones I have seen have one stem and one flower, and few are more than a foot high, but they can treat dysphagia."
