【Predecessors release medicine】

"Compendium of Materia Medica": "Yizhi is a medicine that promotes yang and suppresses yin. It is suitable for people with weak triple burner and life gate qi. According to Yang Shiying's "Zhizhi Fang", the heart is the mother of the spleen. Eating is not only about harmonizing the spleen. Fire can generate earth. The heart medicine should be added to the spleen and stomach medicine so that they can complement each other. Therefore, the ancients often used Yizhi in food medicine, which can benefit fire in the earth."

"Compendium of Materia Medica" states: "Alpinia oxyphyllae seeds can be used to treat spermatorrhea and urine dripping, which are all symptoms of weak kidney qi. The kidney is responsible for receiving qi, and it cannot receive qi when it is weak. It is also responsible for the five liquids, and saliva is controlled by the spleen. When the spleen and kidney qi are weak, the two organs are out of order, and the kidney cannot receive qi and the spleen cannot receive qi. Therefore, the main qi rises and the saliva overflows. If the spleen and kidney qi are restrained, the reverse qi will return to its source and the saliva will flow downward."

"Bencao Qiushi" says: "Yizhi, with a pungent and hot smell, is specialized in drying the spleen and warming the stomach, and in astringing the spleen and kidney qi, returning the qi to its source, so it is also known as a heart-tonifying and life-tonifying agent. Therefore, if the stomach is cold and salivating, use this to restrain it; if the spleen is weak and the person cannot eat, use this to warm it; if the kidney qi is not warm and the urine is not contracted, use this to enter Suquan pills. If the heart and kidney are insufficient and there is nocturnal emission and metrorrhagia, use this to retain essence and consolidate qi. If there is qi deficiency due to heat and there are symptoms such as metrorrhagia and nocturnal emission, it is not suitable. Although this is similar to Suoshami, both of which warm the stomach, Suoshami has the function of quick stagnation, while this only has the power to expel coldness, so it is necessary to distinguish and use it carefully."

"Hui Yue Yi Jing" says: "Alpinia oxyphylla has more tonic properties than tonifying properties, so it must be used with tonics. If used alone, it will disperse the qi."

"Compendium of Materia Medica" says: "Alpinia oxyphylla was first seen in Zangqi's "Compendium of Materia Medica", which said it was pungent and warm, but did not mention its astringency. However, the main treatments described by various scholars did not mention its warm and astringent function. Yang Renzhai's "Direct Pointing Prescription" said that the ancients often used Alpinia oxyphylla in food medicine, which is the fire in the earth. This is a law for those who are weak in the spleen and do not want to eat. The spleen and earth like warmth and hate cold, like dryness and hate dampness. If it is trapped by cold and dampness, it will lack the ab
